Wrestling Buddies

I remember wrestling growing up and I guess having two boys it's bound to start sooner than later. They love to wrestle and I'm proud to say Beau is learning pretty quickly how to fight back. He buries his head and goes at Bennett like a bull. Too funny. I snapped a few pictures of them waiting on Fletcher to get home tonight and then playing in the floor.

Beau-man is Growing

Beau is on the move....he's wanting to walk to badly. He's only taken a few steps on his own, but he's close. He's a sweetheart. I snapped a few pictures of him playing upstairs this afternoon. Love that boy!!!

Surprise!

I'm so blessed to have such sweet friends. We had been invited over to the Hennessey's for dinner last night and we were looking forward to getting together with them and letting the kids play. When we arrived (10 minutes late because Fletcher had to run to Target to get a "protractor"), I was completely surprised by my dear friends and their families. I mean really surprised. That's saying a lot. I usually catch on to things like that, but because my birthday was a week ago, it never dawned on me. I'm still in shock and for lack of better words....I'm so honored and flattered that these wonderful ladies would go to all this trouble for me. I'm definitely blessed and thankful. Here are a few pics of the evening. And on a side note...the only disadvantage to being surprised is you don't know to wear something cute and touch up your makeup, so keep that in mind when looking. :)
P.S. My thoughtful husband had run into Target to get the hostesses a little gift (no protractor)....he's a keeper!

Libby's Bday Party

We've had a busy week (I feel like I start a lot of my posts with that). I've not been good this week about posting, but I did take some pictures today at our friend Libby's bday party. The boys had a blast. It was at Pump It Up and they did. Bennett went down the big slide at least 20 times and Beau flirted with the pretty girls. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Libby for inviting us!

Beau is 9 Months Old!

Beau Mason is 9 months old....or was on the 4th! He's such a precious boy with lots of sugar to give. He just got in his second tooth and he's right on the heels of his big brother wanting to walk so badly. Bennett loves him. They really are best buds (most of the time). Not sure where the time goes, but I'm savoring every second I have with this little one. He's growing up too fast.

Cousins

Last night we had dinner with the whole family (except for Aunt Stephanie). Bennett and Beau were so excited to see Cousin Trey and Cousin Waller. We had a dance party....I'll load some video soon. These kids have got some moves. What a fun night!

Thomas the Train

Saturday CeCe and Beau had a playdate while we took Bennett to ride Thomas the Train. He
loved it. We rode the train, met Sir Topham Hat, petted some goats and rabbits, and hit up McDonald's on the way home....doesn't get much better than that in a two year old's world. Sounds exciting, but I got a birthday card that said, "you know you're old when you'd rather be napping than partying." It's true, napping with Beau in the air conditioning sounds better than standing in line to ride a train, so next time I may opt for that.

Birthday Dinner w/ Fletcher

Fletcher took me out to dinner on Saturday night and to the jazz festival in Franklin. We had a great night out. The music was great and the company even better. The boys had a night in with CeCe and Pops. Thanks for a wonderful night out.

Friday Night Lights

After our delicious dinner on Friday night with CeCe and Pops, we headed to the MBA football game. Bennett was dying to get on the field. At halftime, one of Fletcher's former coaches gave Bennett the thumbs up to go ahead. I thought he'd dance around in the end zone and let me get a picture, but I was wrong. He took off. Fletcher said he'd come back....not to worry. He didn't even look back. By the time he reached the other 30 yard line, the coach sent his sons out to get him. The pictures are a little blurry, but Bennett is the white dot in the distance.

Chattanooga Choo Choo

This weekend we headed up to Nashville to visit CeCe and Pops and celebrate my birthday. After a bit of a delay (flat tire on Thursday), we made it up there Friday afternoon in time for a wonderful dinner. On the way up, we stopped at the Chattanooga Choo Choo to let the boys check it out. They enjoyed the model train and getting to go in the carts.
