Float #2

It's been busy around here since my last post. We had our first visitors! Woo hoo! CeCe and Pops came all the way from Nashville. Bennett and Beau literally woke up around 5:00 am the days leading up to their arrival asking if they were here yet? We had a wonderful 10 days exploring the island from top to bottom and side to side. We went to Nago to the Cherry Blossom Festivals (before they were actually blooming), went to Naha to Shuri Castle, to the Peace Memorial, Churaumi Aquarium, Awase Fish Market, and some of our favorite parks. I did take pictures, but my sweet husband (hi honey if you're reading this) accidentally took my USB cord with him. SO I am unable to load the pictures I took. I do have a few from when we dropped Fletcher off. So sad. I have to say I really hate "drop off" day....and "day after drop off day"....and the day after that. :) This morning, the boys and I took CeCe and Pops to the airport as they headed off to Hong Kong. We decided to have a movie day for "just the three of us" as Bennett said with a smile. God has blessed us with wonderful children, so no more moping for me.

Good Morning Sunshine

I've never been a morning person....EVER....until now! This is what I get to wake up to each morning. Little feet coming running into my room asking for pancakes and "sometin' to dink". This grin is an immediate cure-all for the morning blues.

Little Genius!

No, I'm not serious about Bennett being a genius, but my dear friend Britt has an aunt (Sweet Aunt D) who loves to call kids "little geniuses".....so in honor of her that's the title of this post. Although we are hoping for scholarships in the future. :)

Superheros

I sometimes/often wonder if what goes on in my house is "normal" and I ask you to please not answer that. We may not be normal, but we're sure having fun being crazy. :) And thanks to Aunt Katie for the cool super hero costumes.
