Sunday afternoon, Pops and CeCe made a trip down from Nashville to visit for a few days. Bennett had a great time getting spoiled with attention. Pops played with him outside and found him big sticks while CeCe read to him and gave him his baths. They had smoothies and even made a trip to Costco for some new books. It was a quick visit, but we were glad they could make it down to hang out.

Pensacola Beach
We got in last night from a week in Pensacola, Florida. Fletcher had a work conference there, so Bennett and I tagged along. We had a blast having some fun in the sun. Bennett is a fish! We were blessed with beautiful weather the whole week. We got to meet up with the Thompson's for dinner at Flounders one night. Another night we had dinner with the Davidge's and their boys. They have 3 boys 3 and under, so Bennett was in heaven with all the toys and activity. It was a wonderful week, but we're glad to be home.
Papa and Grammy Come Visit
Tuesday, June 3rd, Papa and Grammy flew in from Lipscomb to visit the big boy. I like to think they were coming to see us too, but once you have children you start to wonder. (just kidding) Bennett was so excited to see them both and put on a show with all of his latest tricks. We had a busy week. Papa and Grammy treated us to the zoo, we went to a Braves game, had hot dogs at the Varsity, visited the train (a Bennett fav), and spent the afternoon at the park. Papa chased Bennett around the yard and Grammy pulled him in the wagon. Bennett misses them already! Can't wait for their next visit!
Heading to Church June 1st
Bennett got healthy and I got sick. Isn't that about how it goes?! I wasn't too sick to snap a picture of my boys as they headed out to church on Sunday. Handsome boys!
Memorial Day in Nashville
I'm a little behind on posting, so I'll start where I left off. Bennett and I returned from St. Simon's, spent the night at home and then headed up to Nashville for Memorial Day. Fletcher was in New York for the week and we thought it would be a good opportunity to get in a visit with Pops and CeCe. We headed up on Saturday morning and spent the evening just hanging out. Bennett was worn out, so he and I both went to bed pretty early. He woke up that night with fever and was sick the rest of the weekend. Bless his heart.....between the fever and runny nose, he still got in some good playtime with Cousin Trey. Pops took him for a ride in the convertible which he loved and he got to see the mean ol' goose at the pond. By Monday his fever had gone down a little, so we headed back to Atlanta. It was a quick, but great visit with Pops, CeCe, Aunt Katie, Uncle Chuck, and Cousin Trey.
