After opening such fun Halloween care packages from Grammy & Papa, CeCe & Pops, and Nina & Pa, Bennett suggested we have a Halloween party at our house. SO we did! We invited our friends over for food and fun and it was definitely fun. It was wild with all the kids running around. Beau wore his costume all morning until about 5 minutes before the party when he wanted it "OFF!". It came off and never went back on. We had a blast and were wiped out afterwards. Thanks to all of our sweet friends for coming over to play!

Granddaddy Walker
Granddaddy Walker is a game my mom started forever ago. I remember playing it with Jade when we were little and it has carried on to my little ones. Bennett and Beau love it, so here's a glimpse of Beau and I today.
Typhoon Chaba
I'm not going to act a bit surprised by the fact that we are having a typhoon as we speak. I would say that's our luck, but the reality is, we actually are very lucky. Although this is typhoon #2 in our short 3 months here, we are safe and sound and have the opportunity to watch it from the comforts of our home in our pjs. That can't be a bad thing, right? The boys were fascinated by the winds. To be honest, I was a little nervous by the high wind speeds tonight.....we're all sleeping in the same bed. That's my answer to any nervous situation....I put my babies right beside me and we stick together. Bennett stood by the window quite a bit while Beau raided the Halloween candy today. For a day cooped up inside, the legos (and The Wiggles) were our saving grace. I snuck a few pics of the boys playing.

Costume Day at School
Here are a few pictures of the boys before school on Friday. They LOVE to dress up, so getting to wear a costume to school was huge for them. Bennett wore his favorite policeman costume and Beau wore the train conductor suit. Bennett was a train conductor when he was Beau's age and there's a picture of Fletcher around that same age in a conductor suit. I tried to get an individual picture of Beau, but he had already lost interest. It'll be fun to compare all three someday. But for now, here you go.

Halloween Party at School
Yesterday the boys had their Halloween parties at school. It was great! They brought the kids up in groups of two and let them dance. Beau and Bennett were both a little shy, but they had fun nonetheless. I did get some video of a few that could really "get down".

Pizza Night at Casa de Tidwell
We had some friends come over this weekend for pizza and playing. As you can see from the pictures the kids did a little eating and a whole lotta playing. Claire and Evan loved dressing up as much as the boys do, so it was a perfect group to have together. Bennett did great sharing his toys. Beau still has some work to do. He may have been the smallest, but he was certainly not cutting anyone any slack.

When it gets quiet...
When it gets quiet in my house, something is up! I was upstairs changing the sheets on beds the other day and realized it was way too quiet downstairs for any good to be going on. When I reached the crime scene, Bennett and Beau were taping the cabinets shut, Beau had marker on his face, BUT everyone was happy. It was a rainy day, so I've posted a few pictures of how the boys entertain themselves....dress up constantly.....beating each other with foam swords....a little this, a little that. Mother of the Year hear I come! :)

A Bear is Coming
Beau is a hoot to talk to. He comes up with some of the funniest little things, so I follow him around with a camera a lot of the time in hopes that Fletcher won't miss out.

Japanese Security Guard
I just got my flip camera, so you all are going to be so sick of my videos. Consider yourself warned. These are for Fletcher and all the grandparents who never get tired of hearing these babies talk. :)

Beach Bash
There was a beach bash yesterday for the families of the 31st MEU, so the boys were excited about meeting some friends. We were thrilled to see some kids the same age and Bennett and Beau played hard right up until time to leave. Bennett played with Jacob and Beau played with Bo. It was a hot day, so the moms didn't mind letting the boys drench us in the water balloon fight and the kids thought that was pretty awesome getting to launch at the grownups. It was nice to be around others in the same situation.
