Happy Father's Day 2012

I personally have been blessed with an amazing daddy, stepfather, and father in-law.  Pretty lucky girl!  To top it off, I married an awesome daddy as well.  Fletcher adores our boys and they adore him back.  I enjoy watching it all unfold as do those around us.  The boys couldn't wait to spoil their hero on Father's Day and it started with breakfast in bed.  After church, we went to see Madagascar 3 and then onto the Torii Pool to burn off some energy.  We knew we had a typhoon heading our way, so we wanted to soak up as much outdoor play as we could.  On a side note, while the boys had some bonding time I got to play in a doubles tennis tournament with my friend, Yoshiko.....and we got 2nd!  The boys couldn't believe Momma brought home a bigger trophy than theirs.:)

Cape Zanpa

We love to go to the Zanpa Lighthouse and it doesn't hurt that we can feed the goats while we're there.  Enjoying our last afternoon with Nina before she heads back to Texas and this isn't a bad way to do it.

Cape Maeda

One of the prettiest spots on island is just up the street from us.  It's Cape Maeda and the views are gorgeous.  After church Sunday we made a stop to show Nina what we had been bragging about. 

Okuma w/ Nina

With Fletcher in Australia, the boys and I decided we needed to show Nina one of our favorite little getaways....Okuma.  We watched the weather and picked 3 days that called for sunshine and 0% chance of rain.  You think I'm joking, but I'm not!  The rules for booking state that you have to cancel within 72 hours to receive a refund.  A lot can (and did) change in 72 hours.  Thankfully, the storm blew through while we were sleeping, but the before and after left us with drizzle and overcast.  I'm blessed with a "glass half full" kind of mom, so we laughed harder those 3 days than I've laughed in a long time.  It was quality time at its best.
