Gymboree with Friends

Our good friends, the Thompson's, now live in Pensacola and we got to visit with them. We met for lunch at Tijuana Flats and then let the kids play at the local Gymboree. We had never been....I've decided we've been missing out. It was great! The kids could run around and get out all their energy and the moms could hang out in the nice air conditioning!!!! Bennett, William, Carson, and Lily Caroline played for an hour and a half and all were ready for long afternoon naps. :)

The Aviation Museum

Bennett is obsessed with airplanes and helicopters these days, so when a storm blew in Sunday afternoon we headed to the Aviation Museum. We've been several times before, but this time Bennett really got to enjoy the planes. He was amazed! It's a wonderful museum and we can't wait to go back.

Perdido Kids Park

There is a new kids park and we enjoyed it while in Pensacola. It's awesome complete with misters and tot plot for the little ones. Bennett loved it.

Visiting Fletcher in Pensacola

We just got in yesterday afternoon from visiting Fletcher in Pensacola. He's been there for three weeks and has one more to go. It was a great visit and we had a blast catching up on some family time. I've got a ton of pics, so I'll try and space them out. Our first night in town, we couldn't wait to get to the beach. We went to dinner at The Crab Trap in Perdido Key and took along our new friend, Tomas, who came over from Columbia to participate in the class that Fletcher is attending. A perfect family friendly restaurant with a playground!!!! We all sat and talked while Bennett played....perfect for a toddler! Who needs a swimsuit? Bennett headed straight for the water after dinner.

Baby #2 is....

Look out ladies, there is going to be a new Tidwell man in town. We just found out today that baby #2 is a boy. We're thrilled Bennett will have a wingman! And I'm blessed that I'll be surrounded by handsome fellas.

Homemade Ice Cream

We got in a visit with Bampa and Grandmother while in town. Actually, Bennett got to visit them twice. The first time, he accidentally called 911 when playing with the phone, so our visit was interrupted by a very understanding police officer. The second visit was less eventful, but always wonderful to get to see them. Our last night in Nashville, CeCe and Pops made homemade peach ice cream. As you can see, it was a hit. The boys started their dinner with cleaning the blade. Not a bad appetizer!

Baby Waller

What can I say....she's precious! Baby Waller arrived just over a week ago and we've been dying to get our hands on her. She's beautiful and the boys were mesmerized. It's about time we get a girl in the mix.....and I'm betting she'll be a tough one. Sadly, I didn't get very many pictures of her....kept my hands free to hold her or keep Bennett from poking at her mouth and eyes. We're so blessed to add another healthy baby to the family.
