On our way out of town yesterday, we got to drop in on Cousin Trey's birthday party. It was at a bounce house and the kids were in heaven. Bennett wasn't feeling that great, so he slept the first half, but once he woke up, he was raring to go. The kids bounced all over the place before sitting down for pizza and cake. What a great party!

Christmas Night in Nashville
We headed up to Nashville on Christmas afternoon to spend a few days with the Tidwells and Woodcocks. We opened presents, ate delicious food, and enjoyed lots of laughs. Bennett and Trey loved their new Hess trucks from CeCe and Pops and had a blast riding on Trey's new John Deere Tractor. We got to go to Trey's 3rd birthday party before heading home on Monday.
Thanks for a wonderful visit!
Christmas Morning
Santa came to our house this Christmas and Bennett must have been good. He was amazed at how generous Santa was to him this year. Fletcher and I loved watching him play with his new fire engine while wearing his protective helmet. Such a little character!
Happy Bday AnnaKate
On Christmas Eve, Bennett attended a friend's birthday party at the Mellow Mushroom. The kids made pizzas and enjoyed cupcakes. Bennett loves hats.....let me just start with that. His hat of choice that day was his bucket. My mom always told me "you pick your battles." Wearing a bucket on your head isn't a battle I'm picking, so needless to say, Bennett wore it on his head the entire party. I must say, he wore it with such confidence. The kids had a great time at the party. Thank you, AnnaKate, for inviting us!

Happy Birthday Bennett!
Bennett officially turned two today! We celebrated all day. I celebrate him everyday, but today we did whatever he wanted. He ate cookies (his favorite), he played, we had lunch at Chick-filet, and he napped only when he wanted to. This little boy has my heart and I have to say these last two years have been the best ever. If I had one request, it would be to slow down time. Where does it go? I savor every slobbery kiss and every bedtime story I get the privilege to read him. Happy Birthday, Baby!

Children's Museum
Fletcher was off work today, so we planned to take Bennett to the Atlanta Children's Museum (again to celebrate his birthday). I know, I know....lots of celebrating going on, but since I was unable to throw him a real party with friends we wanted to do something special. The museum is amazing. He loved it. Every corner was filled with something exciting and engaging. I had a blast just watching him. Bennett played with the bulldozers, the work room, the grocery store, and even fished. Just the excitement in his face....most of my pictures turned out blurry because I was snapping shots at a moving target. By the end of the day, he was pooped as you can see in one of the pictures. Tomorrow is Bennett's official birthday, but I have to warn you, we'll probably continue the celebration for another day or so. Then we'll celebrate the birth of another special baby.
