We were so excited about our visit from Grammy and Papa. It had been way too long since we've gotten to spend some time with them. Thank goodness for webcams which have allowed us to visit pseudo face-to-face, but we've missed getting to see them. After a long delay in Amarillo (due to bad weather in Dallas), they finally made it out here Wednesday night. Bennett and I went to the airport to pick them up. Bennett was so excited that he didn't go to sleep until 10:00 that night. Thursday Grammy and Papa babysat Beau while I ran some errands and Bennett was in school. That afternoon, we played and played....watched movies, rode horses (rocking), and tried to nap (unsuccessfully). Bennett was spoiled with lots of attention and presents. We visited the aquarium on Friday and had Aunt Annette and Uncle Seth in town for dinner on Saturday. Where did the weekend go? It went by way too fast! Thanks Grammy and Papa for a wonderful time. And thanks to Grammy for all of the wonderful pictures. Y'all come back now ya hear! :)

Big Brown Eyes

One thing is for sure....there is no shortage of big, brown eyes in this house. Had a second and got a few pics of Beau this afternoon. The kid just chills all day. So nice to have one mellow one. :)

Finally, Nice Weather!

Today was beautiful, so after church Bennett got to take his scooter out for a spin. After a while in the street, he found a stick that was more fun. Nice to know....I'll have to remember that next Christmas. A room full of cool toys, but give this kid a stick and a balloon and he's in heaven. Sadly, the balloon is now in our tree. Glad he felt the need to keep his helmet on the rest of the afternoon. This kid cracks me up!

If you were to ask me who Beau looks like, I would say "himself", but Fletcher seems to think he looks just like Bennett did when he was a baby. I went searching through old pics of Bennett and I do see the similarities....they are brothers, I know. BUT wanted to post the pics, so you can see what you think.

A Visit From CeCe

This past week, CeCe came down to visit. She was a big help. Bennett had a playmate and I got some free time to hit the gym and visit with friends. I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures, but did manage to snap this one.

Beau is 1 Month

Precious Beau is one month (actually 5 weeks now). He's such a little blessing. Poor kid gets no peace and quiet, but seems just fine with sleeping right through the loud tendencies of his two year old brother. Bennett loves him and we're enjoying every minute of being a family of four. I'm still working on getting a good picture of all four. :)
